Marcello Grande

Marcello Grande was born and raised in Los Angeles. During the formidable years of his youth, the sub-culture of the Hip-hop, graffiti underworld helped define his artistic perspective. Marcello's relationship with the architecture of the metropolis allows him to serve as an expert when connected to projects that cascade into the urban. In 1994 and 1995 he was awarded as a California Art Scholar, serving as the platform for his formal education. Marcello holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Experimental Animation from CalArts, and spent time studying graphic design at Pasadena Art Center, and UCLA.

As a commercial artist Marcello has found fortune in the pursuit of his many likes, serving as a Producer, Production Coordinator, VFX Supervisor, Editor, Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Art Director, and of course Animator.

Comfortable on set, or behind the scenes, Marcello's rich understanding of the production process and his creative wisdom are the stage for constant experimentation in visual communication. As an Idea Broker, he aims to redefine the worn vernacular, constructing fresh interpretations, and viewpoints that would be otherwise overlooked.

In a marketplace that is in constant flux, an eye for detail, and the courage to pursue new solutions define his core strengths and understanding. Marcello is an award-winning designer recognized for his non-conformist style. He has worked for clients including Apple, Adobe, Cisco Systems, Daimler Chrysler, Ford, Gap/Banana Republic, Gortex, IDEO, Interscope/Geffen, ├ęs shoes, Expedia, FUBU, Hewlett Packard, Home Depot, Hugo Boss, Jockey, Proctor & Gamble, Target, and WalMart.

As a creative leader, I am motivated by the thought that positive change can occur in peoples lives through the aid of my imagination.
