Scott Bartholomew

Scott Bartholomew is a seasoned Motion Designer with significant experience in both 2D and 3D. He has worked in nearly every facet of the production pipeline from concept through post-production. Scott began his career at the young age of 19, landing his first job at a public television station. "I guess I had every kid's dream job," says Scott "seriously, ask any little kid if they want a job where they get paid to watch Barney and Sesame street all day and they'll be like, uh huh!" After Scott got his fill of purple dinosaurs and talking birds, he made his way to Chico California where he worked for an NBC affiliate as a video editor and camera operator while attending CSU Chico.

After graduating with a degree in Communication Design and Journalism, Scott moved to England working odd jobs and had the opportunity to travel through Europe broadening his horizons. Eventually he made his way to San Francisco where he was hired as an Assistant Editor for a local post-production company. Quickly gaining the respect of his colleagues for his creativity and fun loving attitude, Scott went on to hold numerous positions including Avid and Final Cut Pro Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, and Video and Events Producer.

Recognizing that his true passion was for design and animation, Scott struck out on his own working as a freelance motion designer, and animator for many well know Bay Area studios. "I definitely took a windy road to get where I am today, but being able to be creative and tell stories visually is something that I've always been passionate about." As WESTERNIZED Senior Art Director, Scott puts his wide range of experience to use creating motion graphics, generating concepts, working with clients, and having a good time. In his spare time Scott enjoys riding his motorcycle, traveling and live music.
